MITThe published v2 is open source under MIT. Its physics mode uses Babylon.js and Havok; the old cinematic mode belongs to this version.
3.0.0-alpha.0 · Git branch
Open project useThis alpha branch includes terms for free use in eligible open source projects; other uses require prior written authorization. Confirm the alpha terms with the maintainer.

What counts as an open project?
The license file accompanying the v3 branch defines an eligible project as one whose complete source, including every part that uses or depends on the viewer, is publicly available at no cost under a license approved by the OSI or recognized as free by the FSF. Keep the license and copyright notices; publish modifications to the viewer under the same license.
The file requires prior written authorization for closed-source products, private SaaS and other uses outside those conditions. It does not impose a blanket ban on revenue from an eligible open project. Its definition says “from version 3.0.0”, while this branch identifies itself as 3.0.0-alpha.0; confirm how these terms apply to the alpha before adopting it.

A distribution mismatch to know about.
The npm package @erpg/[email protected] installed by this site contains an MIT license and declares MIT in its package metadata. The current source repository presents a different, more restrictive license while retaining the same version number. This page describes the published npm artifact; check the exact license bundled with any Git checkout you use.
